Dr. Melissa Neiman is a Board certified neurosurgeon and attorney licensed to practice medicine and law in Texas. She attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and received her medical degree with honors.
After receiving her medical degree, she completed her residency in neurological surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She also practiced neurological surgery for fourteen years including twelve years in solo private practice in Bethesda, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Among her many honors, she was named a top physician in the Washington area by both Consumers' Checkbook Magazine and Washingtonian Magazine. Dr. Neiman served on the Executive and Ethics Committees at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Dr. Neiman was involved in medical malpractice litigation as a consultant, case reviewer, and expert witness for twelve years. As a result of her experience in this area, Dr. Neiman decided to become an attorney. She then earned her law degree at the University of Houston Law Center. The many years of work in the medical field, and involvement in medical-legal litigation places Dr. Neiman in a unique position to offer a wide range of medical-legal consultation to a variety of clients.
